There are a variety of ways to save funds. When shopping online it is impossible for us to be familiar with every the sites that exist. With other sites popping up every day, and copies of existing ones (e.g. groupon & living social)
1) know where to look. You should have a mix of the most traffic and the advantageous features when looking for a handful of sites to use. For instance ebay and craigslist have the nearly all traffic so you would get to look at the nearly all options possible. But a lot of times these sites are filled with spam or used by 'power sellers', so the great deal might not be here.
2) Spend some time looking for other avenues. Even if you have a good list of sites to frequent, make some time to research where additional ones are sprouting up. A little time each day can go a long way if you find that modest site that not a lot other people be familiar with about. In my experience these sometimes have the best deals. For instance maybe the most well-known classifieds site is not the best.
3) Networking. The old phrase 'it's not what you know, but who you know' holds valid here. Get in touch with friends and ask them what they utilize to do their shopping. You would be astounded what you hear. You might have no idea what they do in their spare time or what sites they are using. They might give you some great tips!
4)Patience. You do not need to purchase right away. Take some time to do proper research and use the methods overhead. Do not fall victim to compulsive buying and purchase the first product you find at a lower price. There might be even lesser prices available. So make sure you know what the market price is.
5)Stay positive. It can be frustrating trying to make purchases - even more so when you do not have the funds and are looking for bargains. deliver yourself some flexibility with what you can spend. Make sure you do not leave yourself with nothing leftover. Remember the reason we look for bargains online is to save funds that we can use later.
I hope these 5 tips help you in saving funds and getting to spend it on items you and your family need. Do not discount what is the most valuable here, and good luck in your search!
